I spent much of the 2020-21 lockdown listening to podcasts. A lot of podcasts.

I listened mostly to fiction: archive recordings, amateur readers (thank you Librivox), audio books, modern audio dramas…

Given the restrictions applied to our movements, everyday I would go out and walk or cycle for as long as and for as far as I could within our permitted bubble. Particularly with modern works I got swallowed up by some amazing sound design, and original music, and it got me thinking of developing something. It’s still in the works, but it has a theme tune.
